Tate is one of the first that I added earthy colored beads to his hair to accentuate his bearded soft spoken face!
I started making art soon after seeing authentic African artwork at the Smithsonian Museum of African Art. I was in total awe. Tate was inspired by my visit there.

He has a smoky dark complexion with copper beard and mustache.
Tate has two spiral coils of 16 gauge wire beneath his copper headdress..
His hair has an array of earthy dangling sagger fired beads.
