I started making art soon after seeing authentic African artwork at the Smithsonian Museum of African Art. I was in total awe. Shelia was inspired by my visit there.
Shelia is mounted on a 4"x 6" painted wood canvas. I spent about 4 hours or more just fixing her hair and attaching beads!
Shelia has over 100 feet of 16 and 24 gauge wire for hair.
Shelia has a two tone crackle face with dark copper lips.
