I started making art soon after seeing authentic African artwork at the Smithsonian Museum of African Art. I was in total awe. Leanne was inspired by my visit there.
Leanne is uniquely mounted on a painted 6"x 6”x 2" wood canvas. She weighs 1.6lbs.
Her face is formed with hand coiled wire, raku beads, textured green and brown cloth, and multi color beads.
