I started making art soon after seeing authentic African artwork at the Smithsonian Museum of African Art. I was in total awe. Bontu was inspired by my visit there.
Bontu has an amazingly mystical sweet face!
Her eyes are wide open unlike some of the other mask I create.
Bontu beams a smoky dark complexion.
She is 4" x 7" and weighs 12 ozs.
Bontu has an unusual hairstyle with over 10 handmade textured clay dreadlocks, black pony beads along with twists of coiled 16 gauge wire.
