Upon visiting the Smithsonian Museum of African Art, I was captivated and inspired to begin creating art. As a result, Yenka was born. At 5”x8”, Yenka weighs 7 ounces and boasts a brown complexion. Her hair is made up of several spiral coils, and Raku beads, with over 80 feet of 16 and 24 gauge wire meticulously twisted by hand.
