Serena

Serena is a mixed media sculpture created through the raku process. She is 18 inches tall and weighs 18 pounds, featuring a stunning honey brown complexion and an elegant alligator green dress with a shimmering iridescent finish, Her waist- length hair is expertly crafted from from 16-gauge wire, with beautiful, coiled locks. Her enchanting gaze hints at a sense of curiosity, reminiscent of my middle school art students as they looked up at m, seeking guidance and direction. In memory of those wonderful students, I created Serena as a tribute to our time together.
