I was inspired to begin creating art following my visit to the Smithsonian Museum of African Art, where I was immediately awestruck. Nysha was crafted in accordance with this experience, featuring an impressive 9"x 12" canvas.
Crafting her intricate design required several hours of meticulous work, such as the placement of more than 40 feet of 16 gauge wire in her hair and the adornment of over 40 raku beads.
