Alaskaya
"You can't use up creativity. The more you use the more you have." -- Maya Angelou
Meet Alaskaya
I started making art soon after seeing authentic African artwork at the Smithsonian Museum of African Art. I was in total awe. Alaskaya was inspired by my visit there.
Alaskaya is mounted on a 9"x 12" painted canvas. I spent about 4 hours or more just fixing Alaskaya's hair and attaching her beads!
- She has over 50 feet of 16 gauge wire and copper strands for hair and over 50 raku beads. Alaskaya weighs 4.03 lbs.
- Alaskaya has a white crackle face with an angelic demeanor.
- Alaskaya is ready to be hung!
