Kalifa is mounted on a 8"x 10" painted canvas. I spent about 4 hours or more just fixing Uma's hair and attaching her beads! Uma has over 40 feet of 16 gauge wire , over a hundred strands of copper wire for hair and over 50 raku beads. Uma has a two tone stripe pale pink crackle face with rust red lips. Uma is ready to be hung!

I started making art soon after seeing authentic African artwork at the Smithsonian Museum of African Art. I was in total awe. Kalifa was inspired by my visit there.
